„Der Simulierte Mensch“ by Technische Universität Berlin and Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin invited to our first symposium Si-M Day on 24th November 2022 from 9 to 14 h online. It was dedicated to networking and initiation of projects between investigators of both partner institutions.
Andreas Thiel and Roland Lauster, as well as the scientific coordination team, will introduced the current developments, the scientific vision of that unique collaboration, and potential access for researchers in the upcoming research space opening in 2025.
Investigators from different groups of TU Berlin and Charité presented their current work and scientific interests, and interfaces were identified aiming to initiate interdisciplinary projects.
The topics included:
Development, optimization, and implementation of human model systems and novel analytical processes for human cells and tissues. E.g.,
- Models for therapeutic or regenerative approaches
- Human developmental biology or pathological scientific questions
- Basic research
- Substance and toxicity testing
- Development of novel models and advancement of existing models
- Development of novel technologies (automation, analysis, data integration, etc.)
- Any other technological, methodological, medical, biological approach or expertise to help simulate human physiology.
Please see the programme and the list of oral and poster contributions. For questions, please contact the scientific coordinators.
