Topping-out ceremony
The building "The Simulated Human" (Si-M) serves as a model for cross-institutional research infrastructures.
Representatives of Charité - Universitätsmedizin Berlin and the Technical University of Berlin, along with political representatives, celebrated the topping-out ceremony for two state-of-the-art research buildings on the Virchow-Klinikum campus of Charité today. In addition to the "Berlin Center for Advanced Therapies" (BeCAT) of Charité, the research building "Der Simulierte Mensch" (Si-M) is being constructed as part of the strategic partnership between Charité and TU Berlin. Si-M, a project within the Berlin University Alliance (BUA), contributes to defining the common research space and strengthening the scientific community in Berlin.
