Si-M member wins Robert Koch Award in the catagory emerging scientists

The Robert Koch Foundation e.V., established in 1907 and headquartered in Berlin, is a non-profit organization dedicated to advancing medical progress. It supports fundamental scientific research in infectious diseases and funds exemplary initiatives addressing medical and hygiene challenges. Each year, the foundation presents several prestigious scientific awards: the Robert Koch Prize—one of Germany’s most significant scientific honors—, the Robert Koch Gold Medal, three postdoctoral awards for emerging scientists, and, since 2013, the Prize for Hospital Hygiene and Infection Prevention.
Dr Lucie Loyal from the Berlin Institute of Health (BIH) in Berlin receives the Postdoctoral Award for Immunology 2024. She is known for her work in the field of biotechnology. Her focus is on the application of biological findings to improve health and environmental technologies.
