Access data and log files

Type and purpose of processing

Whenever you access our website, we, or our hosting provider, collect and store server log files. These access data are technical data necessary to fulfil your website call.

The following data is processed when you access the website:

Name of the website
Date and time of the call
Browser type and version
Operating system
Referrer URL (previous web page)
IP address
Requesting provider
The collected and stored log files are stored for security reasons (e.g. clarification of abuse, etc.) for 7 days and then automatically deleted.

Legal basis:

The processing and storage of log file data are based on a legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO).

Contact option

Type and purpose of processing:

It is only possible to contact us via the stored e-mail address. The data you provide in the context of this individual communication with Si-M will be processed solely for communication. This includes a valid e-mail address if specified your name and other personal data provided by you. This data is used for the assignment of the request and the subsequent response to the same. The provision of further data is optional.

Storage period:

Data will be deleted after 6 months after processing the request.

Legal basis:

The processing of data provided by way of contacting us is based on a legitimate interest (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f DSGVO). If you voluntarily provide us with further data, this is done in case of doubt based on your implied consent (Art. 6 (1) lit. DSGVO).

By providing the contact option by e-mail, we would like to enable you to contact us in an uncomplicated manner. The information you provide will be stored to process your inquiry and for possible follow-up questions.

Definition

"Personal data" is any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter "data subject"); an identifiable natural person can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person;

"Processing" means any operation or set of operations which is performed upon personal data, whether or not by automatic means, such as collection, recording, organization, filing, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction;

"Controller" means the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which alone or jointly with others determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data; where the purposes and means of such processing are determined by Union or Member State law, the controller or the specific criteria for its designation may be provided for under Union or Member State law;

"Consent" by the data subject means any freely given specific, informed and unambiguous indication of his or her wishes in the form of a statement or other unambiguous affirmative act by which the data subject signifies his or her agreement to personal data relating to him or her being processed;

Correction of incorrect personal data (Art. 16 DSGVO),
Deletion of your data stored by us (Art. 17 DSGVO),
Restriction of data processing if we are not yet allowed to delete your data due to legal obligations (Art. 18 DSGVO),
Objection to the processing of your data by us (Art. 21 DSGVO), i.e. you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is carried out based on Article 6(1)(e) or (f)

You may submit a complaint to a supervisory authority at any time, e.g. to the competent supervisory authority in the federal state of your residence or the authority responsible for us as the responsible body.

Changes to our privacy policy

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always complies with the current legal requirements or to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy, e.g. when introducing new services. The new privacy policy will then apply to your next visit.
